Indian Telecom growth story rings louder

New Delhi, Sept. 03: According to an announcement made by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, 8.06 million Indians got themselves a cell phone during the last one month. This equals almost twice Singapore's population of 4.5 million and one million more than Sweden's seven million people. By any measure, this is the maximum number of subscribers India has ever added in a month.
