New Delhi, Sept. 2: The Indian space community is on tenterhooks as the country prepares for the first launch of the Geo-stationary Launch Vehicle after its failure last summer. The 49-metre high satellite launch vehicle, or GSLV, will lift the satellite into space at 4:20 pm local time today from Sriharikota space station. The GSLV-F04, the fifth in the GSLV series, will put INSAT-4CR into a Geosynchronous Transfer orbit, about 16 minutes and 40 seconds after lift off.
