Hyd blast: 15 booked, HUJI link confirmed

Hyderabad, Sep 02 : The Hyderabad police have booked cases against 15 people for conspiring against the state in connection with the twin blasts on August 25. Among those booked is Abdul Shahid alias Bilal, HUJI commander, who police believe to be the mastermind of the blasts. At least 43 people were killed and 60 injured in two separate blasts in Hyderabad that took place at a park and an eating outlet in the city.

Attack on newspaper office in Tripura kills 3

Three employees of a Bengali daily newspaper including a manager were killed by two unidentified assailants at their office in Agartala. The incident happened when two assailants stormed into the office of Dainik Ganadoot, and stabbed to death the 32 year old proof reader, Sujit Bhattacharjee, and seriously injured manager Ranjit Chowdhury, and driver Balaram Ghosh, both of whom died on way to hospital.

Delhi Police: Sreesanth wanted to party all night with women

The Delhi Police have said that on May 15, cricketer Sreesanth had plans to party all night with as many women as possible. Police claimed the cricketer was drunk and easily lured to Trident Hotel in Mumbai, where his bookie friend Jiju Janardhan was already arrested.
