Kolkata,Sept.4,: Left parties today launched a massive protest against the joint Indo-US naval exercise, involving India, US, Japan, Australia and Singapore. The rally was flagged off by veteran leader of the Communist Party of India - Marxist Jyoti Basu, and CPI general secretary A.B. Bardhan. Rallies from Chennai city and Kolkata will converge in Visakhapatnam on September 8.

Sanjay Dutt to Get Access Home Food, Medicine

Sanjay Dutt went back to Arthur Road jail to serve three-and-a-half years sentence after being convicted in 1993 Bombay blasts case. Meanwhile, TADA court allowed him access to medicines, home-food, fan and to take along his mattress and pillow for his stay in the jail.
