New Delhi, Sept 25 2007 : President Pratibha Patil stressed on the need for a collective endeavor in the fight against terrorism and poverty at the 53rd Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in New Delhi today. Patil, in her address at the opening ceremony of the CPC, emphasized on the threat that emanated from the disruptive activities of terrorists using modern technologies to set up extensive networks and kill innocent people.
