Srinagar, Sep 29, 2007 : Almond growers in Kashmir are gearing up to hit the local market as the harvesting season reaches its final stages. Known for their superiority of taste, Kashmir almonds are categorized on the basis of their shell thickness as papery, thin-shelled or thick-shelled. With a comparatively good weather this season, the state authorities are hoping for a better return for the growers.
Sanjay Dutt to Get Access Home Food, Medicine
Sanjay Dutt went back to Arthur Road jail to serve three-and-a-half years sentence after being convicted in 1993 Bombay blasts case. Meanwhile, TADA court allowed him access to medicines, home-food, fan and to take along his mattress and pillow for his stay in the jail.
Teacher suspended for molesting girl student
A government school teacher was suspended by the state government for attending the school in an intoxicated condition and allegedly molesting the girl students. Investigations in the case have been initiated.
