"Dandiya" or stick dance is a major attraction of the nine-day long Navratri festival, with people, especially young girls and boys dressed in colourful traditional attires, thronging various gatherings. This year some of the adventurous ones have caught the public's imagination by displaying the traditional dance on roller skates - and their parents are loving the new innovation.

FM Triggers Debate on Financial Reforms

Sanjay Dutt shifted to Yerwada Jail in Pune

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who had last week surrendered in a Mumbai Jail was today secretly shifted to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune. The actor was taken from the high-security Arthur Road Central Jail in south Mumbai in a van around midnight and transferred to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune early Wednesday, due to security reasons and to avoid media glare.
