Amritraj launches a cross-cultural film

Mumbai, Oct 23 2007 : Ashok Amritraj, chief of Hyde Park Entertainment, which has produced major Hollywood box office hits, has launched his latest celluloid offering, a cross-cultural film in Mumbai. The Hyde Park Entertainment, in collaboration with MGM studios and India's Adlabs Films Ltd. is making 'The Other End of the Line'. Jimmy Dodson, director of the film 'Behind Enemy Lines: Axis of Evil' will be directing the movie, which will be shot both in India and the United States.

BUDDHIST FEST
Dharamshala, Nov 7 : Thousands of Buddhists from Russia and Mongolia have organised a five-day grand festival in India's northern Dharamsala, home to Tibetans in exile. For the first time in the history of Tibetans-in-exile, Mongolian and Russian Buddhists are celebrating a Buddhist Festival in the north Indian town of Dharamshala. The Russian delegates feel that this celebration is important as they can show their concern over the Tibetan issue.

New Delhi, November 1, 2007 : Students having allegiance to Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the youth wing of the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party, brawled with fellow students at the campus of the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi in the early hours of Thursday. They threw stones and chairs at presidential candidates engaged in a debate before the University's forthcoming elections.
