Rajkot, November 1, 2007 : Former chief minister of Gujarat Keshubhai Patel has for the first time, launched a frontal attack on present Chief Minister of the state, Narendra Modi calling for his ouster. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel, the iron man of India Keshubhai took a dig at his arch rival Modi saying that democracy is missing in Gujarat and in a more strident voice called for a change of regime in the state.

FM Triggers Debate on Financial Reforms

Sanjay Dutt shifted to Yerwada Jail in Pune

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who had last week surrendered in a Mumbai Jail was today secretly shifted to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune. The actor was taken from the high-security Arthur Road Central Jail in south Mumbai in a van around midnight and transferred to the Yerawada Central Jail in Pune early Wednesday, due to security reasons and to avoid media glare.
