New Delhi, Patna, Varanasi, Nov.17 : Millions of people across India's northern and eastern states congregated at river banks to pray to the rising Sun as the three-day long Chhat Puja concluded on November 17. "Chhat" which means worship of Sun god, symbolising life force and prosperity is an annual Hindu festival celebrated mainly in eastern Bihar. Devotees offering prayers and performing holy rituals thronged banks of river Yamuna in New Delhi, Ganga in Patna and Varanasi.

Sanjay Dutt to Get Access Home Food, Medicine

Sanjay Dutt went back to Arthur Road jail to serve three-and-a-half years sentence after being convicted in 1993 Bombay blasts case. Meanwhile, TADA court allowed him access to medicines, home-food, fan and to take along his mattress and pillow for his stay in the jail.
