Australia captured the vital wickets of Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni earlier in the day to temporarily put the brakes on India's run chase. However, Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh frustrated the Aussie bowlers pushing India's score to 450.
