Bangalore fallout: More World Cup tickets for fans

A day after the Bangalore fiasco, which broke out over the controversy involving sale and distribution of World Cup tickets, Nagpur and Delhi released more tickets to the fans for matches to be played in the city. Delhi are slated to release 25,000 tickets out of 45,000 while Nagpur is expected to released 32,000 out of 55,000 tickets for the common man.

60 dead due to flash floods in many states

The early monsoon rains and swelling of River Ganga and Yamuna has virtually wrecked several states of northern India. Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and several parts of Haryana were flooded, leaving around 60 people dead and thousands others stranded.
