Azharuddin wishes Yuvraj speedy recovery

Allahabad, February 7 (ANI): Indian cricket team former captain Mohammed Azharuddin has wished cricketer Yuvraj Singh a speedy recovery. Azharuddin has also urged all Indian cricket fans to pray for Singh's good health. Yuvraj, who was diagnosed with a seminoma cancer, is undergoing Chemotherapy in the United States of America.

Deepika Kumari returns home after winning gold

India's Olympic prospect Deepika Kumari won her first World Cup individual recurve gold medal on Saturday at Antalya. The gold medalist returned home today. Deepika, who has already qualified for London Olympics, is the current junior world champion and a gold medallist at the Delhi Commonwealth Games. She had also won the Cadet World Title in 2009. She is hopeful of continuing the good work further.

Germany not the favourites in Euro, says coach Loew

Germany coach Joachim Loew on Monday said his team faced a tough challenge and were not the favourites in the Euro 2012 competition. He also named uncapped teenage midfielder Julian Draxler and goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen in his provisional squad.
