Bangalore, February 14 (ANI): Karnataka Minister for Higher Education V.S. Acharya collapsed while attending a function and died in Bangalore on Tuesday. He was 71. He was soon rushed to a hospital, officials said. Acharya, who was not keeping well for some time, is survived by wife, four sons and a daughter. A member of the legislative council, he also held the portfolios of planning and statistics, information technology and biotechnology.
