Congress top leaders to discuss on food security bill

There is a meeting of Congress core group today, in which they will decide whether to call for a special session of Parliament or to pass an ordinance on the Food Security Bill. Earlier, a meeting based on the same issue was held on 17th May which did not have inconclusive.

Gom Conducts first meeting on the autonomy of CBI

The group of ministers (GoM) set up to secure more autonomy for the CBI held its first meeting today, with minister of state for personnel, briefing the GoM on scope of CBI's powers as defined by existing and proposed laws as well as court judgements.
