New Delhi, April 9 (ANI): American born Indian, Monica Dogra made her Bollywood debut with the film Dhobhi Ghaat , in which she featured in a lead role opposite Aamir Khan. While her performance as an actor gathered her critical appreciation, Monica is already known for her singing skills. She is one half of the Mumbai based electro rock duo Shaa ir and Func. In 2005, she formed this group along with the guitarist Randolph Correia. Apart from making a guest appearance in the film Rock On , Monica also sang a song Dooriyan Bhi Hai Zaroori with Vishal Dadlani in the film Break Ke Baad . In December 2011, she judged a musical talent contest called Never Hide Sounds. She is also the host of the popular musical documentary show on Star World India, The Dewarists.
