This may sound surprising, but this happened recently during the shooting of Vijay s Thupakki. When cinematographer Santhosh Sivan was busy arranging the lights and camera for a important scene, the unexpected scenario happened. It was a scene that had to be canned at the Linking Road Bandra in Mumbai, Vijay should mingle with the real crowd without their knowledge. Sources say that Shooting the scene was a tough one, but all of a sudden Vijay took the camera with himself, he enacted the scene as well as handling the cinematography . After showing the footage to Santhosh Sivan, he was thoroughly impressed with Vijay s quick action which was the need of the hour.
