Zardari & Karzai together to tackle militant violence

Islamabad/Karachi, September 10, 2008 : Asif Ali Zardari along with his three children and President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan, on Tuesday attended the swearing-in ceremony. The new Pakistani president said that tackling surging militant violence in the country was a priority, and reminded people he himself was a victim of terrorism. President Karzai, meanwhile, welcomed a recent U.S. move to send additional troops to Afghanistan.
