Guwahati/New Delhi, July 13 (ANI): Sending shockwaves across the nation, a video footage has gone viral on the internet that shows a mob of around 20 men molesting a young girl outside a pub in Guwahati for 30 minutes. The girl, a student of class 11, was pulled by hair, lifted up, thrown down, beaten up, thrashed, molested, groped, slapped and stripped on Monday night. The police reached the spot after half an hour and took the girl to her parents. The Assam Police has identified twelve men from the video footage, but they have only managed to arrest four so far in three days. According to the police, the girl had entered into a brawl in the bar with her friend and following an altercation some youths attempted to molest her. Congress leader Girja Vyas has condemned the incident and called it a shame for the country.
