Batla Enounter: Govt rubbishes Digvijays claims

New Delhi, January 12 (ANI): Rubbishing the claims of Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh, Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram has said that the Batla House Encounter was a genuine one. Singh had claimed yesterday that the encounter was fake. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, the minister also spoke about the decision of the Election Commission to put Muslim Reservation on hold.

Sanjay Dutt went back to Arthur Road jail to serve three-and-a-half years sentence after being convicted in 1993 Bombay blasts case. Meanwhile, TADA court allowed him access to medicines, home-food, fan and to take along his mattress and pillow for his stay in the jail.
