Mohali, January 12 (ANI): Punjab may be witnessing a hectic political activity as parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo locals ahead of the elections scheduled for January 30, but the locals seem to be hardly impressed by the leaders. They feel the lack of basic amenities in the state cant be compensated by anything else. Retired principal of Mohalis DAV College, S Choudhary, says power and water were the two main areas of concern, which were not adequately addressed by the authorities.

Sanjay Dutt to Get Access Home Food, Medicine

Sanjay Dutt went back to Arthur Road jail to serve three-and-a-half years sentence after being convicted in 1993 Bombay blasts case. Meanwhile, TADA court allowed him access to medicines, home-food, fan and to take along his mattress and pillow for his stay in the jail.

Teacher suspended for molesting girl student

A government school teacher was suspended by the state government for attending the school in an intoxicated condition and allegedly molesting the girl students. Investigations in the case have been initiated.
