Ranchi, December 19 (ANI): Dream Girl Hema Malini along with her two beautiful and talented daughters Esha and Ahan Deol, performed classical dance numbers, at a function in Ranchi. Malini and her daughters performed the Bharatanatyam, a classical dance form that originated in Tamil Nadu. Talking to mediapersons, Malini stressed on the importance of a female in the society and added she wanted to create awareness about the women empowerment. Also present on the occasion was Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda.

Ajit Sarkar murder case: Pappu Yadav released from jail

Four days after the court acquitted him on charges of killing CPI (M) leader Ajit Sarkar citing lack of evidence, former RJD MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav was formally released from jail on Tuesday. Yadav, who was lodged in Beur jail, was received by his wife Ranjeeta Ranjan and a large number of his supporters outside the jail.
