New Delhi, November 19 (ANI): Slamming the CBI for registering cases against Bharti Airtel and Vodafone in the 2G spectrum allocation case, the BJP has said that it was a tactic aimed solely at providing immunity to Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram. The CBI today raided Vodafones Mumbai office and Airtels Gurgaon office after registering a case against ex telecom secretary Shyamal Ghosh and the two service providers for alleged irregularities in spectrum allocation.

IPL betting scandal: Gurunath Meiyappan arrested, Srinivasan says wont resign

Gurunath Meiyappan, son-in-law of BCCI President N Srinivasan has been arrested for his alleged involvement in IPL betting scandal. Meiyappan will be produced before a metropolitan court on Saturday. He was arrested by the Mumbai crime branch after nearly two-and-a-half hours of questioning that began at 9.30 pm.

Congress top leaders to discuss on food security bill
