Mumbai, October 10 (ANI): Bollywood is mourning over the death of renowned ghazal singer Jagjit Singh who passed away in Mumbai early morning, almost a fortnight after he suffered from a brain haemorrhage. The fraternity paid tribute to the ghazal maestro, describing his death as loss of a true legend. Stirring millions of hearts with his soulful numbers, Jagjit Singh infused a new life in the dying genre of ghazal music in the seventies besides carving a niche for himself in Bollywood. Bollywood director Subhash Ghai said that the ghazal king was one of his best friends and a big inspiration for him.

Attack on newspaper office in Tripura kills 3

Three employees of a Bengali daily newspaper including a manager were killed by two unidentified assailants at their office in Agartala. The incident happened when two assailants stormed into the office of Dainik Ganadoot, and stabbed to death the 32 year old proof reader, Sujit Bhattacharjee, and seriously injured manager Ranjit Chowdhury, and driver Balaram Ghosh, both of whom died on way to hospital.

Delhi Police: Sreesanth wanted to party all night with women

The Delhi Police have said that on May 15, cricketer Sreesanth had plans to party all night with as many women as possible. Police claimed the cricketer was drunk and easily lured to Trident Hotel in Mumbai, where his bookie friend Jiju Janardhan was already arrested.
