New Delhi, October 2 (ANI): Nation today pays homage to two iconic leaders of Indian freedom struggle on their birth anniversaries Mahatama Gandhi and former PrimeMinister Lal Bahadur Shashtri. Members of Parliament paid tribute to both the leaders in the Parliament house. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, who had just returned from the United States after undergoing surgery, was among the first few to arrive. Opposition leaders L K Advani and Sushma Swaraj were to follow her. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh too paid floral tributes to both the icons. A host of other Members of Parliament also paid homage.
