JPC doubtful over timely submission of 2G scam report

New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Chairman of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probing the 2G spectrum allocation scam, P. C. Chacko on Wednesday said that he was doubtful over meeting the August deadline of submitting the final report. While addressing mediapersons in New Delhi after attending the 12th meeting of the JPC, Chacko said the committee was unsure over the timely submission of the report. He said the committee is willing to work extra hours to wrap up the report on time. He further informed that the scale of investigation now cover a span of ten years starting from 1998 and all those who held crucial posts in the related ministries would be called for interrogation.

Sanjay Dutt to Get Access Home Food, Medicine

Sanjay Dutt went back to Arthur Road jail to serve three-and-a-half years sentence after being convicted in 1993 Bombay blasts case. Meanwhile, TADA court allowed him access to medicines, home-food, fan and to take along his mattress and pillow for his stay in the jail.
