Noida Authority agrees to give farmers 5% of developed land

Noida, July 27 (ANI): Acceding to the demand of farmers seeking higher compensation for their acquired land, Chief of Noida Authority, Balwinder Kumar, during his visit to Sadarpur village in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday promised to allocate five percent of developed land to the farmers. According to media reports, the farmers were upset about the ongoing land acquisition row and had demanded proper compensation from the concerned authorities. Kumar assured residents of these villages that all the disputed lands would be regularised soon. He said letters would also be issued to these farmers, once they accept their share of land. Balwinder Kumar has also assured the farmers to solve their problems, including the construction of roads and setting up of a proper sewage system in the village.
