Ahmedabad, January 23 (ANI): Ahmedabad city in the India s western state of Gujarat presents a perfect example of amity that exists between different communities. Uttarayan or Makar Sankranti is a major festival that is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the state. Kite flying is an integral part of the festival and an International Kite festival in Ahmedabad is also held on the occasion.The Muslim kite makers of the area play an important role in it as they make thousands of kites for the festival that is primarily celebrated by the Hindus.
