Bangkok, October 18 (ANI): Residents in Bangkok have turned to filling sandbags to avert the flash floods. The floods, the worst in half a century, have already killed 315 people in Thailand. Army trucks have evacuated tens of thousands of workers from the Navanakorn industrial estate, on the citys northern fringe, which was inundated after a flood protection barrier failed. Government officials say the impact of the flooding on the nations economic growth will be severe. Bangkoks governor has asked residents to be vigilant and to plug leaks in the sandbagging operations.
