Gagan Narang wins Bronze Medal at London Olympics 2012

India's 10m air rifle specialist Gagan Narang hit a Bronze medal in the 2012 London Games. He won his first ever medal at the Olympics and also won the first medal for India in this edition of the Olympics. Nicolo Campriani of Italy won a Silver Medal and Alin George of Romania won a Gold Medal in the 10m air rifle finals.

With L Devendro's ouster India's boxing dream ends

With the ouster of L Devendro Singh in the quarters of the London Games India's hopes of any more medals in this sport has come to an end. Devendro who has played well so far to come into the quarter finals lost out in the last bout to Paddy Barnes of Ireland by a margin of 18-23.
