India has left England needing to score a record-breaking total if they are to win the third and final Test at The Oval. Pursuing a daunting target of 500 in a minimum of 110 overs to level the series, England was 56 without loss at stumps on the fourth day of the third Test. Andrew Strauss was at 23 and Alastair Cook at 27 not out after they had batted for 20 overs before the close.
